Description:

The distributed monitoring system uses modular, scalable products for condition monitoring and machinery protection. The modules mount directly on equipment to reduce cabling, as they are certified for harsh environments with explosive atmospheres, high heat, and heavy stress. The system works with existing rack-based solutions and uses the same software.

One monitoring module has two dynamic vibration channels and one auxiliary channel, which can be set as a tachometer or DC input. It can work alone or with other modules to build a larger system. In a distributed setup, small modules are linked in networked blocks to perform tasks normally done by rack-based units.

A system includes one or more blocks, each holding up to sixteen modules, a power supply, and an optional host computer. Each module clips onto a base that holds wiring and saves settings, allowing hot-swapping. Different parts can be combined to meet exact application needs, creating a reliable and cost-effective solution.
